Ronan O'Gara: Likely to miss Edinburgh clash

Sky Bet

Ronan O'Gara looks likely to miss Munster's Heineken Cup clash with Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Sunday because of injury.

O'Gara limped out of their defeat at Racing Metro with a hamstring injury and Munster confirmed the news from the scan he underwent on Monday is "not so good".

Ian Keatley, who came off the bench to replace O'Gara in Paris, is likely to deputise against Edinburgh.

There was better news for Paul O'Connell who came through the Racing Metro match - his first since May - unscathed.

Niall Ronan and Donnacha O'Callaghan will need fitness tests before the weekend as Munster look to kick-start their campaign.
