Ryan Davis: Keen to continue making an impact in the LV= Cup
Wasps fly-half Ryan Davis is hoping the club's European exploits will give the club a boost heading into the LV= Cup.
Wasps have endured a troubled season, with injuries decimating the squad and leaving the former Premiership champions battling against relegation.
However the Londoners belied their lowly league position to reach the Amlin Challenge Cup last-eight with a 36-13 victory over Bordeaux at Adams Park.
And although attention now turns to the LV= Cup, with Exeter the visitors on Saturday, Davis wants to Wasps to maintain their current run of form.
"Exeter have done really well this year and they have a strong squad so we know that they will have 15 guys raring to go and keen to hold onto the shirt.," Davis, who spent a season at the Chiefs before moving to Wasps, told the club's official site.
"It won't be easy by any means but we go into it on the back of two very good European wins and we want to build on that.
"For me personally, I want to take all the chances I get in the coming weeks so that when the Premiership starts up again I am at the forefront of people's minds when it comes to selection."
