Lindsay and Davies sign up until summer of 2014

Tom Lindsay and Charlie Davies have both penned two-year contract extensions at Aviva Premiership strugglers Wasps.

The pair, who have both impressed when called upon by the first XV this season, are now contracted until the summer of 2014.

Hooker Lindsay, 24, has already won England Saxons honours since coming out of the club's academy.

He said: "I have been at the club since I was 16 and there is nowhere else I would rather play. I am really looking forward to being part of the team that is going to grow and develop here in the next few years and I am already enjoying working under Dai Young who is bringing a lot to the club."

Enthused

Scrum-half Davies, signed from Stade Francais in 2010, said: "This has been a very good environment for me since I joined, and I am just one of a group of young players who are hugely enthused about the chance we've got over the upcoming seasons to push on and become a title-winning club again.

"There are some excellent scrum-halves here and we are always pushing each other so I'm learning all the time."

Director of rugby Young said: "I believe both Tom and Charlie have a very big part to play in this club's future and I have been very encouraged by their hard work and attitude to developing as players."
