Saracens scrum-half Neil de Kock has been ruled out of action for up to 12 weeks with a fractured arm.

De Kock was injured in the 42-17 win over Benetton Treviso in Round One of the Heineken Cup earlier this month.

The 33-year-old South African underwent surgery on Monday to remove a plate in his arm from a previous break to aid the healing process.

A statement on the club's website said De Kock will now be on the sidelines for between eight and 12 weeks.
