The Blues have re-signed All Blacks winger Rudi Wulf on a two-year deal.

The 27-year-old made 43 appearances for the province before heading to Toulon in 2010.

However the former Blues Player of the Year has is now delighted to be returning, with Wulf also set to play for North Harbour in the ITM Cup.

"To be returning to play amongst old mates in a team I so enjoyed being a part of is really exciting for me," said Wulf, who has been capped four times.

"I can't wait to get back on the field in a Blues jersey."

Blues coach Pat Lam added: "Rudi was a real star performer for the Blues. He is a dynamic player, full of speed and skill and an outstanding team man.

"We were so sorry to see him head offshore last year and to have him come back to the Blues is fantastic news for us."
