Rhys Ruddock and Eoin O'Malley have agreed new deals to remain at Leinster.

Ruddock, who has been capped by Ireland, has put pen to paper on a 12-month contract, while O'Malley has extended his stay by two years.

Ruddock, a 20-year-old flanker, has made 13 appearances for the province this season.

Centre O'Malley, who is 22, has gone on to be capped by Ireland Wolfhounds after making his Leinster debut in the 2009/10 season.

Leinster coach Joe Schmidt said: "We are delighted that two more products of the Leinster underage and Academy systems have signed new deals.

"Both Eoin and Rhys have made an impact with their performances in the Magners League and Heineken Cup so far this year.

"The role of the academy is crucial in the development of our young players and both Rhys and Eoin, with their work ethic and talent, exemplify the Academy products we are fortunate enough to have here in Leinster."
