O'Leary: Replaces Stringer
Tomas O'Leary and Kevin McLaughlin have been added to Ireland's squad for the RBS Six Nations opener against Italy in Rome on Saturday.
Both players turned out for the Ireland Wolfhounds in the defeat to Scotland A last Friday.
However O'Leary will replace fellow Munsterman Peter Stringer, while Leinster back-rower McLaughlin takes the place of uncapped Connacht man Mike McCarthy.
Coach Declan Kidney has also restored Gavin Duffy to the full squad after he was released to play for the Wolfhounds.
A statement on the Irish Rugby Football Union site said: "There are no fresh injury concerns for the Ireland squad after last week's training camp in Limerick and the Ireland Wolfhounds game against Scotland on Friday.
"Full-back Gavin Duffy, scrum-half Tomas O'Leary and flanker Kevin McLaughlin have been drafted into the senior squad from the Ireland Wolfhounds side."
Ireland will go into the clash without Andrew Trimble, Tommy Bowe, Shane Horgan, Rob Kearney, Geordan Murphy, Jamie Heaslip, Stephen Ferris and John Hayes all missing.
