England skipper determined to make speedy recovery

England captain Lewis Moody has insisted that he will be fit for the RBS Six Nations clash with France at Twickenham on February 26. The Bath flanker was expected to miss the entire tournament after tearing ligaments in his right knee against Aironi in the Heineken Cup. However Moody is determined to return as soon as possible - and he has admitted he would even play against Italy in the second match of the Six Nations if he were given a chance. Moody told the Daily Telegraph: "I'll be back for that third game against France, fighting fit, raring to go." England open their campaign against Wales on February 4 in Cardiff before entertain the Azzurri eight days later. And Moody has refused to rule himself out of a dramatic comeback against Italy. "It's probably not in the physios' minds (for him to return for that game). But it is in mine."
