Flanker commits to Worcester

Highly-rated flanker Jake Abbott has agreed a new two-year deal to remain at Worcester. The 22-year-old is currently sidelined after suffering a serious knee injury against Bristol back in October. However the Warriors have moved to keep Abbott, who has scored seven tries in 20 matches, at Sixways for the immediate future. And Worcester head coach Richard Hill said: "It is fantastic news for everyone connected with Warriors that Jake has signed a new two-year deal and we can now all look forward to seeing him back in action. "It was a bitter blow to lose Jake to injury as he was a star for us at the start of the season."
