Namibia captain Jacques Burger has admitted he had no hesitation in signing a new deal to remain at Saracens.

Burger has agreed a new long-term contract after impressing at Vicarage Road since joining from the Bulls.

And the 27-year-old said: "It was a very easy decision.

"Saracens is a special club, the Premiership is a fantastic competition and Lehanie and I are very happy in north London."

Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall has hailed with the impact Burger has had at the club since joining.

McCall added: "Jacques produces outstanding performances week after week, and we're delighted he has pledged his future to the club."
