Connacht have signed New Zealander Rodney Ah You to replace former England international Robbie Morris.

With Morris having been forced to retire due to a spinal condition, Connacht coach Eric Elwood has moved quickly to bolster his front-row options.

The 22-year-old Ah You, who has played for the Bay Blacks at the 2007 and 2008 Junior World Cup, has agreed an 18-month contract.

He joins from Canterbury, where he has been playing in the ITM Cup for the past two seasons.

Joining Ah You at Connacht will be fellow props Dylan Rogers, Barry Fa'amausili and Rob Sweeney, with the trio all on three-month trials.
