Former Lions and England full-back Iain Balshaw has signed a new two-year deal with Biarritz.
The 31-year-old joined Biarritz in 2009 and played a key role as the side reached the Heineken Cup final - losing out to Toulouse.
And Balshaw, a member of the England squad which won the 2003 World Cup, has now been rewarded with a new long-term deal.
Meanwhile Biarritz have suspended America winger Takudza Ngwenya and Ilikena Bolakoro for disciplinary reasons.
Ngwenya and fellow winger Bolakoro will both miss Friday's opening match of the new season against Montpellier for breaching club discipline.
"Their non-selection is a disciplinary measure but we won't say more than that," said director Laurent Rodriguez.
