Connacht have moved to add scrum-half Cillian Willis to their squad ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old has spent the past two seasons at Ulster, having initially come through the academy set-up at Leinster.

Willis, who has represented Ireland at Under-19 and Under-21 levels, will now compete with Frank Murphy and Conor O'Loughlin for the Connacht No.9 jersey this season.

Willis will team up with the Galway club for their pre-season training camp on Aran Islands.
