Adams: Joining Bordeaux
The Bulls scrum-half Heini Adams has left South Africa to move to France with ProD2 outfit Bordeaux.
Adams won three Super 14 titles with the Bulls, while he represent South Africa in their matches against Leicester and Saracens in 2009.
However after 36 Super 14 appearances for the Bulls, Adams has decided to try his luck at Bordeaux.
Bulls coach Frans Ludeke insists the loss of Adams is a blow but he has wished the 30-year-old well with the move.
"Heini will be missed, as he was not only a great player, but one of the characters in the side," Ludeke told the Bulls' official site.
"We understand that this is an important time for him to utilise the overseas opportunity and cannot stand in his way if we have his best welfare at heart.
"We wish him well and believe he will contribute at this new club in the same way he did here."
