Jaque Fourie has been called into the South Africa squad to face Wales on June 5 after Jean de Villiers was forced to pull out with an injury.

Munster centre de Villiers had been one of six overseas-based Springboks names in the starting XV for the clash at the Millennium Stadium.

However a shoulder injury means that Stormers ace Fourie will slot into the midfield alongside Bath's Butch James.

Fourie was initially overlooked for the match-day squad, however the decision to bring him straight into the starting XV means that Stormers team-mate Juan de Jongh will have to make his Test debut off the bench.

South Africa - revised: 15 Francois Steyn, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Butch James, 11 Odwa Ndungane, 10 Ruan Pienaar, 9 Ricky Januarie, 8 Joe van Niekerk, 7 Dewald Potgieter, 6 Francois Louw, 5 Andries Bekker, 4 Danie Rossouw, 3 BJ Botha, 2 John Smit (captain), 1 CJ van der Linde.
Replacements:
16 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 17 Jannie du Plessis, 18 Alistair Hargreaves, 19 Ryan Kankowski, 20 Meyer Bosman, 21 Juan de Jongh, 22 Bjorn Basson.
