Jaque Fourie has been called into the South Africa squad to face Wales on June 5 after Jean de Villiers was forced to pull out with an injury.
Munster centre de Villiers had been one of six overseas-based Springboks names in the starting XV for the clash at the Millennium Stadium.
However a shoulder injury means that Stormers ace Fourie will slot into the midfield alongside Bath's Butch James.
Fourie was initially overlooked for the match-day squad, however the decision to bring him straight into the starting XV means that Stormers team-mate Juan de Jongh will have to make his Test debut off the bench.
