Rush: Could stay at the Blues
New Zealander Xavier Rush could be set for a dramatic u-turn by remaining with Amlin Challenge Cup winners Cardiff Blues.
The former All Blacks No.8 had revealed in February that he had agreed to move to Ulster next season after five successful years at Cardiff.
However the 32-year-old has now appeared to have had a change of heart, with Blues coach Dai Young admitted he would love Rush to remain.
"He's in discussions with Ulster and us," Young said.
"He did make a statement early doors but obviously it's up to him - we can't do anything about it.
"We would love for him to stay but it's up to him to make that decision.
"He's got to make that decision and hopefully he will stay with us. It's out of our hands pretty much."
