Rob Miller Quotes of the week

Miller is set to link up with Hodgson, who was named in the England squad to tour Australia, after agreeing a move from Newcastle Falcons.

The former England Under-20 star believes that his game will greatly improve under the guidance of the Sale veteran.

"Charlie has been the top fly-half in the Premiership for the last 10 years and you only have to look at his record to see that," the 20-year-old told The Cumberland News.

"You couldn't ask for anyone better to learn from, with the way he controls the game and brings players into the game.

"He has great tactical knowledge and his second game is second to none.

"For me to be able to learn parts of my game from him and get some game time with Sale and develop as a player will be fantastic.

"It would be nice if I am long-term successor to him - and they are massive boots to fill. I'm excited at the opportunity to challenge for his position."
