Saracens scrum-half Neil de Kock knows his side will have their work cut out to end an unwanted run of defeats when they face Northampton on Sunday.
Sarries have fallen at the semi-final stage six successive times in four different competitions over the last four seasons.
But despite their recent record, Brendan Venter's side should head into the Guinness Premiership last-four clash with Northampton full of confidence.
Victories against the Saints and table-toppers Leicester in their final two games of the regular season arguably gives them an edge heading into the knockout stages.
However, scrum-half Neil de Kock admits that Sarries will have anything but an easy ride when they travel to Franklin's Gardens.
"We know Northampton are a very intense and well-coached team. I don't expect anything different this weekend," he said.
"They might adjust a couple of things with regard to the game-plan, but they will be as intense as ever.
"They are a very good rugby team, which is the reason why they are second in the table."
