Northampton trio Ben Foden, Phil Dowson and Soane Tonga'uiha are in the running to lift the prestigious Rugby Players' Association players' player award.
The Saints players are joined among the nominations by London Irish and England flanker Steffon Armitage and Saracens' South African hooker Schalk Brits.
The young player honour sees Chris Ashton, Courtney Lawes, Ben Youngs, Dan Cole and Dominic Waldouck nominated for the award, which voted for by their fellow professionals.
Foden, who won the young player category in 2009, said: "It's a tremendous honour to be recognised by your fellow players, and I am in some very good company when I look at the other guys on the list.
"It's been a very exciting season playing for club and country - first club silverware with Saints, first start for England and first international try - so this is a fantastic addition to a very memorable year for me."
Dowson and Tonga'uiha have both proved to be models of consistency during Northampton's charge towards silverware.
Armitage has also enjoyed a standout season, while Brits is arguably the Premiership's outstanding overseas recruit.
The winners, together with those in a number of other categories, will be announced at the annual RPA awards dinner on May 26.
