London Irish's Chris Hala'Ufia has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle in the 33-22 Guinness Premiership derby defeat at Wasps last Sunday.

The Exiles number eight was reported by independent citing commissioner Ken Pattinson following the tackle on Wasps fly-half Dave Walder.

The Tonga international has been summoned to appear before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel in London next Wednesday.

The latest action comes after the forward was cited and banned for four weeks in January for striking Leo Cullen during the Heineken Cup match with Leinster.
