Hooker Darren Dawidiuk has become the 14th member of the Gloucester squad to commit to the club after agreeing a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old only joined Gloucester at the start of the season from the Cornish Pirates, but he has gone on to make 12 appearances.
And although he admits he still has a lot to learn his target is to challenge Olivier Azam and Scott Lawson for the No.2 jersey at Kingsholm.
"I came to Gloucester to take a step up, to test myself at a higher level and it's been a great experience," he said.
"I've learned a huge amount from working with the likes of Olivier Azam and Scott Lawson but I know that there are still areas of my game that I need to work on.
"So that's my aim now... to carry on working hard and improving so that I can start to challenge those guys for a starting place."
