The RFU have reiterated that they will not be releasing flanker James Haskell despite the demands of his club Stade Francais.
The French outfit have ordered Haskell to return to Paris ahead of the Top 14 clash with Toulouse on Saturday.
The Parisians have claimed Haskell is not tied by any agreement to remain with England and as result he should have been back at training on Monday.
However the RFU have refused to budge and insisted that the 24-year-old will remain with the England training squad ahead of the RBS Six Nations clash against Scotland on March 13.
An RFU spokesman said: "Our position is as it has been for the past two days. James will be staying with England as his contract with Stade Francais allows him to be available during EPS (Elite Player Squad) periods. We have nothing further to add to that."
