Bath has successfully renewed the contract of Ben Williams with the talented centre signing a new two-year deal.

"It is really rewarding for us as a club to see a young player like Ben come through the ranks who can challenge the more senior players each week. We think he is one to watch for the future"

The 20-year-old has impressed since joining the academy, becoming one of the club's top rising stars.

Williams has made three first-team appearances for Bath, most notably against Worcester Warriors in the Guinness Premiership.

The talented individual is delighted at extending his stay at The Rec, admitting that he can learn a lot from the senior players in the team.

He said: "It is really good to play and train alongside the senior boys. They help make things so much clearer and offer such a good understanding of the game - which is great.
