Croft: Promising future
Leicester Tigers head coach Richard Cockerill has tipped Tom Croft to become an England great.
Croft made an instant impact when he joined up with the British and Irish Lions after Alan Quinlan was suspended for their tour of South Africa - scoring two tries in the first Test.
Leicester boss Cockerill believes that the back-row has the potential to be as good as former stars, Lawrence Dallaglio, Richard Hill and Neil Back.
Cockerill told the Leicester Mercury: "No one wanted to pick him, and when did pick him they found out he was really good.
"He was enormous for the Lions. He will get better, more robust and more physical.
"I think he will be a world-class player, and if he keeps working on his game he will be as good as anyone we have seen - Hill, Dallaglio, Back, (Mike) Teague and (Peter) Winterbottom."
