Bulls winger Bryan Habana is set to be out of action for 'three to four weeks' after breaking his hand in the 16-9 win over the Lions on Saturday.

The former IRB player of the year will undergo surgery on Monday, having been forced of the field midway through the second half in Johannesburg.

Bulls team doctor Org Strauss is expecting Habana to be back in action for either the match against the Highlanders on March 28 or visit to the Crusaders on April 3.

That will mean that Habana will definitely miss the home match against the Stormers as well as the first match of the tour to New Zealand against the Hurricanes.

The unbeaten Bulls are also waiting on whether Dewald Potgieter will be fit to take on the Stormers after injuring his FC joint on Saturday.
