South African Super 14 side the Stormers say that some of their players are already claiming that they have been contacted about a move to Guinness Premiership side Saracens.
With incoming rugby director Brendan Venter set to oversee a major overhaul at Vicarage Road in the summer, several top South African players have been linked with a move to England.
South African Venter is thought to want the likes of Springboks Schalk Burger and full-back Conrad Jantjes to join him at Saracens for next season.
Stormers media manager Frikkie Erasmus says that although the club have not had any official contact from Saracens, they are aware of reported contact and Burger has revealed he has been approached.
Erasmus also says that the likes of Jean de Villiers and Schalk Brits are Saracens targets, and claims that some players say Venter has already been in touch.
"We've heard the reports and some of the players have told us that they have been approached by Brendan (Venter)," said Erasmus.
"But there is nothing in writing, so we can't really say. You have to understand that most of the information we do get is second hand.
"(One of) the players that has mentioned this approach is Schalk Burger. There have also been indications that Jean de Villiers has been approached, and Schalk Brits."
Saracens players do face an uncertain future, with Venter due to hold one-to-one meetings with several stars in the lead-up to him taking over from Eddie Jones.
