Rautenbach, Roche and Danaher agree new deals at London Irish

Title-chasing London Irish have been buoyed by news that Faan Rautenbach, Kieran Roche and Declan Danaher have all agreed new deals. Roche and Danaher have both signed three-year contracts, while Rautenbach has committed himself to the Exiles for the next two seasons. The trio have provided the backbone to the Irish pack in recent seasons, with former Springbok prop Rautenbach making 59 appearances, second row Roche turning out 113 times and flanker Danaher the longest serving player at the club after 193 games. And head coach Toby Booth is understandably delighted that all three players has agreed to remain at the club. He said: "Our improvement in recent seasons has been built on a number of solid player platforms in the team. The re-signing of Faan Rautenbach, Kieran Roche and Declan Danaher is an integral part of maintaining those platforms. "It is vital to our progress that key individuals stay at the club and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Faan, Declan and Kieran in the seasons to come."
