Wales prop Duncan Jones is set to miss out on a place in the British and Irish Lions squad to tour South Africa after he suffered a chronic stress fracture in his right foot. The 52 times capped front-rower was on the bench for opening game of the November series against the Springboks - however he has been sidelined since with the injury. And after having had an operation to repair the damage, Jones will now be in plaster for at least three months before he can begin the rehabilitation process. Although Jones could still return before the end of the season, the Ospreys have admitted it is unlikely he will feature again.
