Anthony Boric has admitted he is excited at the prospect of taking on two of the best locks in world rugby when New Zealand face South Africa in Dunedin.
Blues forward Boric will make his starting debut for the All Blacks on Saturday having made three appearances off the bench.
And he will be handed a baptism of fire against Springboks locks Victor Matfield and Bakkies Botha.
"It's pretty exciting, a great chance to test myself against two of the best locks and I'm really looking forward to it," Boric told Sportal.
"It feels a bit different being involved in the starting line-up as the week builds up and going through all the plays."
Although South Africa lost the opening Tri-Nations clash in Wellington 19-8, Matfield was imperious in the line-out - and Boric knows that it is one area that the All Blacks need to work on.
"We've put a lot of work into our line-out and I think we will combat them pretty well, so it should be good," said Boric.
