Injured fly-half wants final victory for retiring talisman.

Injured Wasps fly-half Danny Cipriani has backed his side to give the 'inspirational' Lawrence Dallaglio a winning send-off as he makes his final appearance in Saturday's Guinness Premiership final against Leicester. Cipriani will miss Saturday's showdown at Twickenham after suffering a horror ankle injury during the play-off victory over Bath, but he believes his team-mates can help send Dallaglio into retirement with yet another trophy. Wasps skipper and England World Cup-winner Dallaglio will end his 17-year career as a one-club man after Saturday's clash at Twickenham. Cipriani expects a tough challenge against Leicester, but thinks that it would only be right for Dallaglio to end his amazing career on a winning note. "Leicester are a quality side, we've played them twice this year we beat them away and they won on our home ground so it's going to be a very difficult match," Cipriani told Sky Sports News. "We know exactly what Leicester can do and they know what Wasps can do so it's going to be a very physical game."

Send-off

"As for Lawrence Dallaglio's last game, he's a great legend of the game and it's only fair that he goes out with a win." Along with his World Cup winners medal, Dallaglio has led Wasps to two Heineken Cups and four Premiership - and Cipriani hopes that will be five come Saturday evening. Just starting out on what could be a fine England career himself, Cipriani says that Dallaglio has already helped him immensely. "He's just very inspirational," Cipriani continued. "He's got an aura about him. "He's someone I do look up to and someone I get on well with. Someone I can talk to about a lot of different things. "He's a very experienced man, both in the good and bad side of the sporting world and he's grown from that. He's been there and done that and he's won the trophies - he's known as the medal collector because he's won so many."
Factor
Cipriani hopes that Dallaglio will remain with Wasps in some capacity after his retirement, but despite all the sentiment he says the team will be focusing purely on winning the game on Saturday. "He's a very inspirational guy and him staying on at the club at wasps is going to helps wasp because he still has that Dallaglio effect. "But the team wont be thinking too much about that because it's about wasp getting that win because we don't want to ruin that hard work now and fall at the final hurdle."
