Perpignan's David Marty has been recalled to the France squad after Florian Fritz was injured ahead of Sunday's RBS Six Nations clash against Scotland

Marty had been part of the Les Bleus team at the World Cup, however he found himself axed by new coach Marc Lievremont after a disappointing run of domestic form.

However, with Toulouse centre Fritz facing up to 12 weeks out after fracturing his fibula in training, Marty has been handed a lifeline to the international stage.

The 25-year-old has won 19 caps since making his debut in 2005 against Ireland, scoring eight tries.
