Cusiter limped out of the 31-21 victory at Murrayfield late on with an ankle injury, which raised doubts over his availability for the World Cup in France.
However, Scotland team doctor James Robson says Cusiter should be fit enough to play in the tournament in France next month.
"Chris is as good as we could have expected," said Robson. On further inspection (the injury) was a small isolated injury to his ankle ligaments.
"He will be subject to daily treatment and ongoing monitoring. At the moment, we have no reason to believe that his inclusion in the World Cup squad, if selected, would be under threat."
Cusiter will find out if he will be involved in the World Cup on Tuesday, when Scotland coach Frank Hadden names his 30-man squad for the competition.
