Gloucester v London Welsh: Aviva Premiership preview
Last Updated: 20/02/15 5:38pm
Henry Trinder will make his first start since September when Gloucester welcome winless London Welsh to Kingsholm on Saturday.
The centre made his comeback from a shoulder injury in last weekend’s defeat at Leicester Tigers and is one of five changes to the starting line-up.
Trinder partners Bill Meakes in midfield, while 20-year-old scrum-half Callum Braley makes his first Aviva Premiership start.
James Hudson partners captain Tom Savage in the second row, Aleki Lutui comes in for Darren Dawidiuk at hooker, with Ross Moriarty preferred to Gareth Evans in the back row.
London Welsh are without a competitive win this season and head coach Justin Burnell has been forced to make wholesale changes for the trip to the West Country.
Five Exiles who featured against Sale Sharks last weekend have been ruled out through injury. Elliot Kear and Alan Awcock are named in the back three, while Will Robinson and Piri Weepu form a new half-back partnership.
Hooker Rob Elloway makes his first Aviva Premiership start, with Eddie Aholelei named at loosehead. Dean Schofield partners James Down in the second row and Ben Pienaar comes in at No 8.
