Super Rugby: The Reds recorded convincing win over rivals the Rebels

The Reds scored six tries en route to a convincing 36-20 win over the Rebels.
The Reds had to overcome early injuries to Dom Shipperley and Ben Tapuai, while replacement wing Lachie Turner was also sin-binned.
However they never looked like losing the game from the moment Turner opened the scoring, with former Wallaby going on to cross again, while Nick Frisby (2), Mike Harris and Rod Davies also went over.
The Rebels were lacklustre for long periods and it wasn’t until they were 29-3 down that the home side finally began to string the phases together.
Avenged
They were rewarded through tries for Bryce Hegarty, Luke Burgess and Mitch Inman, who had also been yellow-carded, but it was far too late to have an impact on the result.
The win means the Reds, who were missing the likes of Will Genia and Quade Cooper, avenged their defeat to the Rebels in Brisbane earlier in the season.
Frisby benefited the most from Genia’s absence to score two tries, while Turner impressed off the bench after Shipperley suffered a leg injury.
Turner did spend 10 minutes on the sideline for a dangerous tackle on Hegarty but he returned to register his first double since 2010.
