Mickey Paea will miss the Hull derby after being handed a third suspension of the season.

The Hull FC prop was given a two-match ban after being found guilty by a Rugby Football League disciplinary tribunal of a grade C dangerous throw on Wakefield loose forward Danny Washbrook during his side's 26-16 defeat at Belle Vue seven days ago.

Paea, who was banned for a total of three matches earlier in the year for two offences of raising his knees in the tackle, will sit out Sunday's home game against Castleford as well as the trip to Hull KR on Friday week.

Wakefield front-rower Mickael Simon will miss Sunday's home game against Warrington after being handed a one-match ban for raising his knees in the tackle during last week's win over Hull.

Leeds will be without full-back Zak Hardaker for Thursday's game at Wigan after he received a one-match ban for a dangerous throw on St Helens stand-off Travis Burns during the Rhinos' 46-18 win over the champions last Friday.

Hardaker, who was sin-binned for the offence at the time, submitted an early-guilty plea to the grade B offence.

The league leaders will also be without second rower Stevie Ward, who has been ruled out for four to six weeks with an ankle injury suffered in the win over Saints.

"It is disappointing for Stevie as he has been in outstanding form so far this season," said Leeds coach Brian McDermott.

"However, it could have been worse news and our medical team will do everything possible to get the injury right as quickly as possible."

Ward is facing a race against time to be fit for the Rhinos' Challenge Cup semi-final with St Helens on July 31.
