Catalans Dragons' Chris Walker has been summoned to appear before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee following a challenge that left Hull KR winger Liam Colbon with a broken jaw.

The Australian has been charged with illegal use of the forearm during his side's 16-10 win over the Robins at Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday.

Colbon was carried off on a stretcher after suffering concussion and was detained in hospital in Perpignan overnight.

The winger was released in time to fly home with his team-mates on Sunday morning but is expected to be out of action for two months.

Report

Walker was placed on report by referee Ben Thaler and referred by the RFL's match review panel. He will be the fourth Catalans player to appear in front of the disciplinary committee in the first two months of the 2010 season.

Remi Casty and Olivier Elima were both handed one-match bans while David Ferriol avoided a suspension following his sending off for punching.

Meanwhile, Leeds prop Ryan Bailey could also be in trouble after being charged with a "chicken wing" tackle on Stuart Fielden during his side's 24-4 defeat at Wigan.

Warriors forward Joel Tomkins has been given a formal caution for using his knees on Leeds hooker Danny Buderus during the same match.

Hull prop Ewan Dowes has also been cautioned for an illegal tackle on Salford loose forward Luke Swain on Saturday.
