Recent Wigan signing Eddy Pettybourne has been called into the United States squad for the World Cup, which starts later this month.
The Wests Tigers forward, who signed for the Warriors in July, comes in to Terry Matterson's 24-man party as a late replacement for the injured Andrew Durutalo.
Pettybourne, who will link up with Wigan after the tournament in England and Wales, started his international career with Australia, representing them as a schoolboy in 2005.
He changed allegiances to his native New Zealand and was called up to their Four Nations squad in 2009 but did not make an appearance, and his senior international debut instead came for Samoa against Tonga earlier this year.
The USA open their tournament against the Cook Islands in Bristol on October 30 before facing Wales and Scotland.
