Wales Rugby League appoint a new chairman

Former Wales winger Brian Juliff has been appointed as the new chairman of Wales Rugby League. Juliff played for Wakefield, Wigan, Halifax and Castleford after switching codes and won eight caps for Wales from 1978-84. The 59-year-old has some fond memories of playing rugby league and is eager to aid the development of the game in Wales. "I had some great moments in the game of rugby league and some great memories of playing for Wales against teams like England and Australia," said Juliff. "I've always shown a big interest in the development of rugby league in Wales but I now have the time to help make a difference and there's nothing I'd like better to be involved in."
