Super League leaders and defending champions St Helens have lost Kyle Amor and Travis Burns to suspension ahead of Friday's trip to Wakefield.

Prop forward Amor was given a two-match ban by a Rugby Football League disciplinary panel for a "crusher" tackle on Castleford full-back Jordan Tansey during last Friday's 21-14 win over the Tigers.

Amor, who was sin-binned for the tackle and subsequently charged by the RFL's match-review panel, admitted the grade C offence.

Stand-off Burns, Saints' close-season recruit from Hull KR, was given a one-match ban after being found guilty of a careless high tackle on Castleford winger Justin Carney in the same game.

Meanwhile, Castleford hooker Scott Moore will miss his side's home game against Wigan on Friday after being given a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on prop Mose Masoe in the same Langtree Park fixture.

All three players were also fined £300.
