2014 Four Nations: Samoa trio left out of England clash as NRL launch review

Samoa are set to make their Four Nations bow against England in Brisbane in Saturday, though, head coach Matt Parish has been forced to omit a trio of players due to disciplinary reasons.

Reni Maitua, Tautau Moga and Sauaso Sue have been left out by Parish after it was revealed they are the subject of an NRL Integrity Unit review.

While the NRL trio are excluded, England’s Super League is also represented in the form of Wakefield's Pita Godinet and Mose Masoe, a Grand Final winner this year with St Helens.

Castleford Tigers fans will get a flavour of what Ben Roberts will bring to the club in 2015 with the Mend-A-House Jungle-bound stand-off starting for Samoa, with soon-to-be team-mate Michael Shenton in the England squad.

Wildcats hooker Godinet is among Parish’s replacements and is the lone representative from the West Yorkshire club in the competition.

Meanwhile, St Helens’ Masoe enters the Four Nations on the crest of a wave after helping his side to Super League glory at Old Trafford.
