Josh Hodgson: Scored Hull KR's final try in their derby win over Hull FC on Saturday
Hull KR winger Ade Gardner believes team-mate Josh Hodgson's excellent form merits a call up to Steve McNamara's England squad.
Gardner scored twice as KR won their Magic Weekend derby clash with Hull FC 38-24 and he was quick to praise his team-mate in the wake of their success.
The on-loan winger believes it is time for Hodgson, who scored Rovers' final try at the Magic Weekend on Saturday, to earn his first full international cap.
"I can't speak highly enough about Josh," Gardner told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Given an opportunity to play internationally, I'm sure he'd thrive on that and relish being in that environment."

"Given an opportunity to play internationally, I'm sure he'd thrive on that and relish being in that environment.
"If anyone epitomises Hull KR, it's him because he wears his heart on his sleeve.
"To play 80 minutes down the middle is formidable. Kieron (Cunningham) was a one-off and a bit of a freak."
The hooker came up through the Hull FC youth system and made his debut for them in 2009. He then moved to KR for the 2010 season, starting six times and making 14 appearances off the bench.
"I knew Josh was a good player before I came to Rovers and I put him right up there with the best hookers in Super League," he continued.
"He's got a massive engine and defends brilliantly. His heart gets him through and he has some great skills too."
