Wigan hooker Michael McIlorum is eager to make his return to the rugby league pitch when England battle France on November 3.
England begin their Autumn International Series on Saturday against Wales, who lost 20-6 to France in the tournament opener.
The Warriors man will sit out this weekend's clash as he completes he three-game ban following his red card against St Helens.
McIlorum has cut a frustrated figure on the sidelines and the 24-year-old just wants to be involved in Steve McNamara's team.
"I will still be supporting the lads and hopefully I will be able to push for a place against France."

"It will be disappointing to have to watch the game on Saturday. But it was similar at Wigan," he told League Express.
"I had worked hard all season, but then had to miss the last couple of games, so it was tough. Had we got to the Grand Final that would have been my last game, and I could have played against Wales, but we didn't.
"I will still be supporting the lads and hopefully I will be able to push for a place against France.
"Being an out-and-out hooker will hopefully keep the door open for me to be involved in that game but I will have to just wait and see. I'm training hard and hopefully can fit straight in if I get the call."
