Castleford Tigers are to step into the transfer market after losing three forwards to injury.
Ryan Boyle is out for the season after being told he needs a knee reconstruction, while Nathan Massey will be sidelined for six to eight weeks after undergoing ankle surgery and Dan Fleming has a back injury.
Boyle missed the first two months of the season with a knee injury sustained in the last match of 2013 and re-ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the Tigers' win over Wakefield on Good Friday.
Tigers coach Daryl Powell said: "We're struggling a little bit up front. In terms of big men we are a little bit light.
"Frankie Mariano and Oliver Holmes can play in the middle so we can manage, but there are a few issues.
"We'll be announcing a new singing in the next couple of days which will strengthen us up a little bit."
Boyle said: "Absolutely gutted that my season is over after working so hard to get back in time for most of this season.
"It will be operated on in the next few weeks. I will be back in October for a full pre-season with the boys."
