Batley Bulldogs have secured Daniel Fleming for the 2013 season on a dual registration deal from Super League club Castleford Tigers.

Fleming spent time training with the Co-operative Championship club last term and made a favourable impression with coach John Kear.

Tigers head of youth development Steve Gill believes regular first-team action will benefit the promising 20-year-old prop.

"At this stage in Daniel's development, it is without doubt the best move for all parties," Gill told the club's official website. "Daniel trained at Batley last season and made a big impression with the coach John Kear.

"He will be a great addition to their side and for us, playing in the Championship will serve to improve him as a player and offer invaluable match-day experience. We hope to see him impressing in a Tigers shirt in the forthcoming season."
