Castleford Tigers claimed a 28-18 Boxing Day victory over Bradford Bulls in Ian Millward's first match in charge.
First-half tries by new signing Josh Griffin and academy utility back Josh Atkinson helped Millward's men to a 10-4 half-time lead.
Atkinson and Griffin both added further tries in the second half while another new signing, ex-Leigh prop Steve Nash, and young scrum-half Ben Johnson also touched down.
The Bulls had all the early play but a solitary try to Jason Crookes was all they had to show for a lot of pressure and when the home side brought on hooker Daryl Clark the game turned in the Tigers' favour.
The Bulls, who gave debuts to Johnny Payne and trialist Phil Joseph, took an early lead through Jason Crookes and there were also tries for Chev Walker, Bryn Hargreaves and Shaun Ainscough.
