Giant step forward
Stevo says Castleford will raise their game for Huddersfield, but is worried over their forward power.

Last week we had a couple of shocks and it was good to see London Broncos get their first win of the season with a convincing 42-16 win over Castleford. Then Widnes stunned Wigan with that one pointer, which was even a bigger shock.
It was a terrible performance from Castleford though and one wonders how they are going to stop a Huddersfield side who are rampant.
The biggest problem with Castleford is that they are only playing in patches and those patches are only about 10 minutes long! They cannot seem to get any control or rhythm into their game. It's not surprising that Danny Orr and Rangi Chase are not getting the opportunity to do what they do.
I think that is down to their pack. It is a very young pack and while they may be pretty mobile, I don't think it has the toughness that is needed. They don't seem to have the strength to last the full 80 minutes and to keep their side on top. I know that they are a team in progress but the forwards have to tighten up - especially in defence.
We all know that if you have not got your forwards doing the hard yards, then your three-quarters are going to suffer.
The forwards have to get the likes of Orr and Chase into good field positions - they can create and there is nothing finer than seeing their fullback Richard Owen hitting the line at pace, but he is just not getting many opportunities to do that.
The way Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown sets his defence means that it is extremely solid and very difficult to break through.
Red hot favourites
You have to say that the Giants are red hot favourites and one of the reasons they are doing so well is because Danny Brough is just playing out of his skin at the moment. It is going to be a great battle between him and Orr, but I think Brough will be feeling a little more confident knowing that his set of forwards are ready to pulverise the Tigers forwards.
The return of Castleford coach Ian Millward will really lift them though. It has been a tragic time for Ian and his family and I think the Tigers will dig very deep and will want to lift their game for him.
They certainly have the skills and I think we will see them do that against Huddersfield.
STAR MAN: Ryan Hudson really needs to lead the young Tigers forwards. He is a very experienced player and can be influential. He is back in the hooking role and needs to get the best out of the likes of Brett Ferres and Steve Snitch. They are certainly capable of it. Also look out for Daryl Clark who I really like the look of and will make an impact off the subs bench.
STEVO SAYS: I think we will see a much better performance from Castleford and expect them to really get stuck into the Giants. Huddersfield may be the favourites but complacency has seen many a 'favourite' side come up short so Brown really needs to make sure they are on the ball. They are a good outfit though and I cannot see them losing this.
