Omari Caro: Impressed by the intensity of his new team-mates at Hull KR
Hull KR's new winger Omari Caro has been impressed by the intensity among his new team-mates at New Craven Park.
The Super League's fastest man joined the Robins during the close season on a two-year contract from the London Broncos.
The 21-year-old scored four tries in 12 appearances for the capital club last term and is he ready to fight for his place with the East Yorkshire side.
"Hull KR is a lot different to the London Broncos and the biggest difference I have noticed up to now is the intensity in training," he told the club's official website. "The conditioning in the first two weeks has been pretty tough.
"The strongman aspects of the training especially have been difficult but enjoyable at the same time, we have been pulling sleds and flipping huge tractor tyres. The feedback you get from training is a lot better too and helps with your preparations.
"There are four of five wingers in the squad so there is plenty competition for places which is healthy. The more experienced guys in the squad in particular David Hodgson have been excellent with me and made the move easier."
