Ambitious Championship club Featherstone Rovers are hoping to make former Great Britain international Leon Pryce part of their Super League bid.

The 32-year-old stand-off is out of contract at Catalan Dragons at the end of the season and is not expected to be short of offers.

The former St Helens and Bradford Bulls playmaker has recaptured some of his best form in 2014 and has been a key component for Laurent Frayssinous’ men this season.

Rovers' majority shareholder Feisal Nahaboo believes the ambitious Championship club have lodged the highest offer on for Pryce and hope to have him in 2015.

“We have tabled what we believe the biggest offer on the table for Leon,” Rovers' majority shareholder Feisal Nahaboo told a press conference.

“We've made it very clear we want him here and to help with the charge next season.”
