Vincent Duport has signed a four-year contract that will keep him with the Catalan Dragons until the end of the 2016 Super League season.
The 24-year-old France international, who has notched 31 tries from 70 top-flight appearances, is currently in his second spell with the Perpignan club.
Duport played for the Dragons from 2007 to 2009 before moving to Toulouse, only to return to the Super League side in 2011.
The centre has no plans to rest on his laurels and wants to build on his excellent form in 2013.
"I performed really well in 2012 but I don't want to stop here, I want more for the years to come."
Dragons new coach Laurent Frayssinous added: "It was important for the club to keep Vincent.
"He will become one of the key players in the team in the years to come. He is a valuable player in the squad, both on and off the field.
"He worked really hard after his injury to come back at his best and this new contract is a fair reward."
